Turkish Circassian Burl Root Walnut Blank T01‑037

Description

Premium Turkish Circassian Walnut – Naturally Air-Dried for Over 5 Years

Discover the exceptional beauty of genuine Turkish Circassian walnut (Juglans regia), renowned worldwide for its rich natural colours, intricate grain patterns and remarkable wood figure.

Each premium walnut gunstock blank is carefully selected for its distinctive character and has been naturally air-dried for a minimum of 5 years, allowing the timber to season slowly and naturally.

Turkish walnut is highly valued by professional gunsmiths, craftsmen and collectors for the beauty of its figured grain, elegant colour contrasts and suitability for fine custom shotgun and rifle stocks. From flowing grain and marbled patterns to spectacular burl figure, every piece of Circassian walnut has its own unique natural character.

To reveal the true beauty and grain structure of the wood, some photographs are taken with the walnut blank lightly wetted with water. Photographs show the wood both dry and lightly wetted, helping you assess its natural appearance and potential.

Dimensions: Please check the measurements under the Additional Information tab. All dimensions are measured manually and are approximate. Minor variations or recording errors are possible.
